6´-Aminodihydrocinchonine Base – Fine Chemical

CAS-No. 911708-35-5

6´-Aminodihydrocinchonine Base (CAS-No. 911708-35-5) is a cinchona alkaloid closely related to 6´-Aminocinchonine. Compared to 6´-Aminocinchonine the double bond is hydrogenated, the stereochemistry is the same. Both compounds belong to a new class of Cinchona alkaloids, bearing a free amino group in the C6’-position. Despite its position far away from the stereocenters, the amino group proves crucial to obtain high enantioselectivity in synthetically relevant reactions.
